Royal Brothers Band - GWA 4177: Onyame Ayi Yen Afir Musum / Eno Saman
Royal Brothers Band - GWA 4177: Onyame Ayi Yen Afir Musum / Eno Saman I have manny more records like this, but this is my favorite one, especially the "B" side one... Looove the extra distortion on this!! They do this on purpose, you know that? All over "Black" Africa ("Sub-Saharan" if you're into that...).
Various Artists - TWI GUITAR BAND HIGHLIFE 1962-1974
Various Artists - TWI GUITAR BAND HIGHLIFE 1962-1974 YouTube Actually rebellious music!! I belieeeve, if I remember correctly, they were "taboo" in the country (Ghana). How neat is that? Plus, they use a western label (Decca), guess they had the right frame of mind (the Decca people, the ones recording them and manufacturing them). Very distorted sound, super Raw guitars!! How Awesome!!! YEA!!! Haha, hope you enjoy!! (my own collection)
